The main objective of our forums is to develop communities on specific topics where people can engage in interesting and informative social discourse.

Unfortunately, a few people seem inclined to post the same message repeatedly (often with no connect what so ever to the topic of the forum). Others do a little better and are at least focused on the correct topic.

However, the basic rule here is that you should never post an identical or substantially identical message more than once. It is much more effective to be original and interesting.

Our system detects most attempts to post similar messages. If it detects you are trying to post a duplication message, you are given a warning screen and can then go ahead and post the message anyway.

You are strongly discouraged from posting duplicate messages. If you acknowledge you are posting a duplicate message that information will be passed on to the moderator.

If our system has mistakenly identified your message as a duplicate, do not hesitate to post it.
