Here are a few general rules that should be followed on all our sites. Disregard of these rules may result in the removal of your posts and/or blocking of your account. In that case you can only resolve the problem by creating a new account and following the rules.

The most important rules are:

1. Be original, interesting and don't duplicate your posts.
2. Be on topic and in context.

Here are some specific DO NOT'S. This specific examples have resulted in deletion of posts and blocking of accounts:

DO NOT post a furniture, cell phone, or any other kind of non-real estate for sale in the real estate for sale ads

DO NOT post the same add, forum message or article more than once. If you wish to post the "same" thing in different forums, or categories, please write it newly so that it fits within the context of that forum, topic, etc. If you are warned that you are posting a duplicate message that is a good sign that you are on the WRONG TRACK! Start over and write something fresh.

DO NOT post links that are not relevant to content of your post and/or the forum, ie: do not include a link to an insurance website in a post in our webmaster forum about SEO techniques.

DO NOT use URL's as post titles. Use a descriptive title. If a particular feature allows a link there will be a input box for the URL and another one for the Title (Anchor text). Putting your URL there will get you a DO FOLLOW link.

DO NOT use URL's in your message text. See above about how to get a DO FOLLOW link.

DO NOT use affiliate links or other redirects. Do not use tiny urls. Do not link to affiliate sites with your REFERER ID. Instead link to your own interesting and informative site (which can free link to affiliate sites).

DO NOT put email addresses in your title or message text (people can contact you through your profile without your email address being published).

DO NOT post in the wrong category or geographic location. If there a menu selection for geographic location, use care to select the proper location, ie: don't post about UK retirement under Spain. Make sure your post corresponds to the selected topic and the topic of the site.

DO NOT cross languages, ie: post ONLY ENGLISH in our ENGLISH SITES and link to only ENGLISH SITES, and of course POST ONLY SPANISH in our SPANISH SITES and link only to SPANISH SITES. The ONLY exception here is in our English Expat sites, linking to quality sites of the language related to that country is ok in select circumstances, ie: to governmental information sites not available in English or News sites. DO NOT link to blogs or other promotional websites in another language.
