The real estate classified ads section provides a great opportunity to offer your property for sale and reach a large audience. The system is quite flexible and there is no fee to use any part of it. However, we ask that you keep in mind our guidelines.

Our real estate ads offer the following features:

• Unlimited length for your ad. You can include all the details of your property and surrounding area.
• Use HTML in your ad. We offer a simple HTML editor so you can format your ad to be readable and interesting with the use of bulleted lists, bold face, colored fonts, and more.
• Direct links to your home page. You can add a link to your home page and to the property on your home page
• Unlimited gallery of photos. You can upload as many photos of the property as you like.
• Include a Youtube Video of the property.
• Include a Google Map pinpointing the property for buyers. Our system allows you to easily adjust the map and pointer (with your mouse).
• Contact with potential buyers without disclosing your email address.

The process for submitting an ad is quite easy. You must first register on the site (your password will be emailed to you). After you login, you can browse through the property listings to the State or Country where you want to place your ad.

When you click the link to submit your ad you'll be presented with an ad submission form. The following items are required:

• Title (see our FAQ on writing titles)
• Country/State. This is a pull down menu, please chose the correct place carefully. On some sites, this is fixed and your property must be for that location to be added.
• Provience/State:
• City:
• Location: You can provide a street name, neighborhood, or region to help people identify where in the city the property is located.
• Asking Price: please provide your asking price in US dollars for the entire property, or leave blank if you don't want to disclose a price. Do not enter a price per meter or other price that is not for the whole property. If you enter a price not in US dollars people won't easily compare properties.
• Type: This is a pull down menu, please chose the most appropriate type of property, ie: house, investment, commercial, etc
• Description: This is the fun part! Tell the world about your property. Make extensive uses of the bulleted and numbered lists.
• Zip Code: (for properties in the USA)
• Submit! After you've completed the above SUBMIT!

After you submit your listing it will be immediately published for the world to see. You can then add photos, video, a map and of course edit any part of your listing. We strongly encourage you to add these optional items.

Your ad will then be reviewed to ensure it is acceptable. Please note these are the most common problems with have with real estate classifieds:

1. Not an ad for a property. These are for property listings ONLY. Not for agencies, not for other items.
2. Photos not for property. The photos should be for the property and surrounding area. Do not upload logos of your real estate company, or other unrelated photos.
3. Video not of property. The video must be for the property being offering and not general or unrelated videos.
4. Links to unrelated websites, other classified ad (post the complete details here) or photo sites (submit your photos to our gallery).
5. Ad not in the language of the site. (ie: in English on English site, in Spanish on Spanish site).

Depending on the severity of the problem your ad may be: edited, removed, and/or your account suspended (ie: posting non-real estate ads here).

You will be sent an email informing you of the approval of your ad (one email per property). We'll then sent out a twit about it (we currently have over 9,000 followers on Twitter). Once a month we'll send out a general reminder email (one per email address) about your properties.

If the property has sold you can delete the ad, if its not sold, you might consider reviewing your ad and updating any of the information. If people keep asking the same questions add the information to your ad. Of course you don't have to wait for monthly emails to update your ad. If you don't wish to receive these emails, then please don't submit and/or delete your ads.

How to edit your ad:

Simply view your advertisement on our page, like everyone else. However, when you are logged in a menu will appear the top of your ad. It provides you with these options:

• Upload Photo(s)
• Edit or delete this ad
• Add/Edit Map
• Add/Update Youtube Video

The options to upload photos, add map and video will open a small window and refresh the main screen when you have completed the task.
